These Navarra Asparagus Thick (6-8) Viuda de Cayo are asparagus of high quality and very thick. These asparagus have the characteristic flavor of typical Navarra asparagus. These asparagus have been traditionally prepared, being blanched before peeling them to preserve their aroma and properties.

The asparagus are harvested between the months of April and June and have been grown in the Navarra region along the Ebro riverbank. They are harvested at night or early in the morning to protect them from direct sunlight.

We recommend serving them with extra virgin olive oil, with mayonnaise, or with a vinaigrette as an appetizer, in salads, or as a side dish.
