The Teruel Ham holds the distinctive Teruel Denomination of Origin. This piece is comes from the larger and more elogated back part of the ham, know as the noblest part of the pig and is characterised by less fat. The pigs are fed with natural feed and cereals. Thanks to the traditional production method and a 22 months curing process, they obtain Teruel hams of highest quality. This ham is slowly dried in the region of Teruel, which has a dry climate with cold winters and hot summers.
