This ham has been produced in the Jabugo area and has been cured for more than 36 months. It is a pure Iberian ham from the hind leg of the pig, which has been fed on acorns and pasture, giving it an exceptional flavour and texture. Jabugo is one of the main acorn-fed Iberian ham producing areas thanks to its climate of hot summers and mild winters, and its vast expanses of pasture land on which the pigs graze. In addition, the feed gives it the characteristic flavour of acorn-fed Iberian pigs, with an intense Iberian flavour and fruity touches. The meat is dark red in colour and the fat is white, pink and transparent, with an unctuous texture and an intense aroma.
Montecillo Reserva wine: The perfect accompaniment to complement the tasting of ham. This Reserva brings fruity notes and hints of wood that combine perfectly with the flavour of the Iberian ham, creating a harmony of flavours on your palate.
