Serrano: The appearance is wider and less stylized than the Iberian ham. The hoof is light brown.
Tasting note
Soft flavor, little salty and pleasant aroma. Homogeneous texture and little fibrous. Compared with the Iberian, its aroma, flavor and texture are softer and less intense.
Curiosities
The different types of Serrano are differentiated by the healing period. The Gran Reserva is the maximum quality among the Serrano hams.

The Chorizo from León is made from smoked, cured pork meat. It’s dark red colour and it has a characteristic strong aroma. Its intense flavour and strong texture is typically from the Castilian countryside, the Chorizo from León is valued and well known all over the Spanish geography.

The presentation is in a horseshoe, with attached ends and connected by a wire so that they can hang on the poles where the smoking process is done.
