The Bellota (acorn) 100% pure Iberian ham "Pata Negra" - DO Dehesa de Extremadura is obtained from the hind legs of the Iberian pig raised in freedom, being these bigger and elongated. It is the noblest part of the pig and is characterized by less fat. These ham require more curing time, above 36 months.
It is the product of the highest quality.
The color of these hams is intense red with streaks of bright white fat, it is juicy and unctuous, it has the delicate and complex aroma, at the same time penetrating and subtle, intense and elegant flavor with sweeter taste. It melts in the mouth.
