How to play?

Step 1: Preparation

1. Temper the hams: Before opening the packets, they must be at room temperature. If you have them in the fridge, take them out one hour before or soak them in hot water before opening them. This will help the fat to dissolve a little and make it easier to separate the slices.
2. Arrange the plates in numerical order: Place the plates on the table in order from 1 to 5.
3. Open the 5 envelopes: Open the plastic and place the plates on the table without changing the order. Wait about 5 minutes for the ham to breathe and bring out all its aromas.
4. Place the numbered stickers: Place the numbered stickers from 1 to 5 on each plate, so that the number corresponds to the number of the envelope containing the ham.

Step 2: Tasting

1. Start the tasting! Taste each of the hams in the order you prefer. Take your time to enjoy each bite.
2. Taste carefully: Observe the colour, texture and aroma of each ham. Pay attention to the subtle differences between each one.
3. Write down your impressions: Write down on a piece of paper the quality you think corresponds to each number (Serrano, Cebo, Cebo de Campo, Bellota 50%, Bellota 100%).
4. Cleanse your palate: Between each taste, cleanse your palate with a little water or bread to avoid saturating the flavours.

Step 3: Discover the solution!

1. Scan the QR code: When all players have finished tasting and written down their answers, scan the QR code with your mobile device.
2. Find the solution! Compare your notes with the correct answer on the web page that will open when you scan the QR code.
