Origin : Extremadura

Breed: Iberico 50%

Curing: Plus than 42 months.

Diet : Fed with acorns. Top quality ham certified.

Production: The traditional curing process provides a natural cellar aroma and a unique delicate taste.

Part of the pig:Hind leg.

External appearancer: The product is sold boneless and vacuum packed. Sold per kilo, not as a whole ham.

Taste: Intense flavour and incredible aroma with small pink fat layers which helps appreciate better the fabulous texture of this masterpiece.

Health : rich in protein, B vitamins and oleic acid (good cholesterol producer). Very low in calories (95cal per 50g), an indispensable part of the Mediterranean diet, 100% healthy.

Curiosities: The texture of the fat is homogeneous and creamy. If we take a small amount of fat between two fingers and rubbed it melts easily.

Mac n. el día 08/21/2017Ce jambon a été coupé à la trancheuse en tranche de 2,5 à 3 mm; les tranches sont très belles, avec son aspect persillé de points blancs de gras! En bouche, la première sensation donne un goût très équilibré de sucs divers succulents et légèrement parfumés et suaves; il faut le garder en bouche et mâcher longtemps encore (tout seul, ...sans pain) pour avoir une bouchée - un "bol alimentaire gustatif"- achevée (surtout, il ne faut pas se presser d'avaler!)! C'est très très bon. Je reconnais alors la patiente maturation du jambon bien voulue par le professionnel patient mû par une tradition de savoir faire respecté. Bravo, et j'aime. Ce jambon a été goûté avec bonheur par nos 4 familles; nous étions 12 membres, âgés de 20 ans à 84 ans, ... et nous avions tous très aimés ce repas là! Mac Nguyen.
